Today comes the last part of this beauty series, my nighttime beauty routine. It begins pretty much the same as my morning routine, with a clean face. It doesn’t matter if I wear makeup or not that day, I always clean my face at night, at least with a face wipe (Pond’s Morning Refresh). Another morning product that I use also at night, it’s the Sephora Instant Depuffing Roll-on Gel for the eyes. Although, lately I’ve been using a sample of Dr. Brandt Dark Circles Away I got with my reward points at Sephora. I like it, but at a hefty $55 for half an ounce, I probably won’t be buying it any time soon.

Beauty Series: Daily Routine. Part 4.
As the final step in my morning beauty routine comes an extremely important one: sun protection!! I am so big on this, I usually go off to my friends, or anyone for that matter, about it at the slightest chance. WEAR SUNBLOCK EVERY SINGLE DAY PEOPLE, I cannot say it emphatically enough.
We’ve all heard about all the damage sun exposure can cause, and most of us are pretty good about being careful of it when we are at the beach or exposed for any prolonged amount of time, but most of the damage happens on your day to day life, while on your way to work or running errands… even if it’s cloudy or rainy! The sun is always there, even if the weather is not hot or you can’t see it, the damaging UV rays are always getting through. On top of that, many active ingredients in the skincare products we use (and you might be using right now) require that you protect against these rays because they can cause a reaction when expose to them, a reaction as in sun spots and discoloration, yikes!
Beauty Series: Daily Routine. Part 3.
I hope by now you’ve decided to start cleaning your face, applying a nutrient rich serum and moisturizer daily, if you weren’t doing it before that is. Our skin is not just a very important part of what makes us beautiful, but it’s also out largest organ, so we should always take care of it properly.
Now for the third part of this beauty series, comes an optional step (if you’re lucky!)… zit control. Unfortunately, I am not one of those lucky girls who gets to leave acne behind along with their teenage years. I actually, for the most part, had great skin in high school, granted I’ve been taking great care of my skin since I was 11! However some time around 18 years old, I began slacking a bit in the skincare department, and I started breaking out. I tried to get it under control once the problem started, but nothing seemed to really work by then, in fact it got progressively worse. By my early 20’s, I was ready to try the most intense treatment my dermatologist could prescribe, and I did. It worked great, and I hadn’t had much trouble with acne again, other than the occasional zit… until now.
